Chapter 23 - Woo Pin Fish Head Noodles @ Taman Desa

Instead of having the all-time Klang favorite meal which is Bat Kut Teh, we drove all the way down to Taman Desa to opt for their fish head noodles soup! Highly recommended by some online portals and bloggers, we didn't mind to waking up slightly early on a Sunday to have this meal.

Driving for an approximately 30 minutes from Klang to Taman Desa, we were taken aback with the crowd they had - By selling ONE main dish only, they did attract people, flocking in to the restaurant. After having our preferred noodles being ordered, we had their fried fishcake as a starter!

Fried Fishcake (RM4.00)
Filled with compact fish meat, you will see yourself taking one and putting them into your mouth, without letting anyone to have the chance to comment. They are worth trying though they may be quite oily.

Fish Head Noodles Soup (RM8.00)
For those who prefers a natural and wishes to try the freshness of their fish, this will be your perfect choice! Of course, the soup will be less oily (for sure) yet, I would say it is suitable for those who treasures the original taste.

Fish Paste Noodle (RM8.00)
For children especially, this is best option for you! Like myself, I don't like "bone-y" fish and hence, I opted for the above noodles - simple and easy to eat, the fish paste was sooo tangy that sometimes you wish that they could give you more. However, you wouldnt be able to taste the "fish per say as it is more like a fishball.

Fish Head Noodle (RM8.00)
My sister prefers something simple and classic - rather than challenging herself to have something creamy, she loves to have it plain - her comment was that the soup itself was really flavorful.

Fried Fish Head Noodle (RM8.00)
Among all the bowls on our table, everyone seemed to love Fried Fish Head Noodle - with a combination of generous vegetables and fried fish head, it adds much flavor to the soup - Somehow, one cannot deny that oily food is simply delicious just like KFC and MCD.

While having Fried Fish Cake as an appetizer, you can also order a plate of Fried Fu Chok - crispy and crunchy as it is, you will realize that a plate of Fu Chuk and Fish Cake aren't enough for the mouth of six.

To opt for this, you can visit them at:
