The calm and peace environment has always wanted to attract me to walk inside to this restaurant - a simply loving set up and you would see rows of cakes displaying at the counter to affirm your temptation that they are all worth of trying. After several times of fighting against my temptation, last weekend, my bestie and I gave in and we tried Delicious!
Despite negative comments that we received about the poor services and unsatisfying food, we had our best dining experience here in Delicious! The name of the restaurant itself has reflected the good food that we were opting for and I must say that they were simply delicious!!!
As we flipped the menu, I must say that the menu has blossomed into a veritable treasure house of western and local favourites - you get to find the all-time favourite Nasi Lemak, scrumptious lamb shank and many more. These list of menu will definitely satisfies the palates of each and every diners from breakfast till late supper.
Spaghetti Carbonara (RM 25.90)
Pasta lovers like me would definitely opt for their spaghetti. Having a tough time to choose between carbonara and tomato sauce, we then got some help from the waiter to assist us in this. The helpful waiter suggested us to go with Spaghetti Carbonara since both bestie and I are a huge cheese fans. AND we made the right decision!
As I do not really take beef, the waiter has offered to replace beef to chicken. The thick carbonara sauce, generous toppings of slices cheese, oyster mushrooms, chickens slices and the right texture of the noodles easily made us finishing them within 10 minutes - you can call us as the hunger pangs but the spaghetti carbonara do deserve a praise here!
Chocolate Brownies (RM 13.90)
I must say that I am totally impressed with their services. Even though we went to their restaurant near to its closing time, they were still up to their standard! As they got my bestie's order wrongly, they apologized and quickly made the right order. Despite all that, the front-line team (Ashrul) brought us Chocolate Brownies and two cup of water to entertain our taste buds while, waiting for the burger to be ready. I was truly impressed and felt great, making a right choice eating there. Good Job, Delicious!
What's more when the chocolate brownies were super-licious - The hot chocolate brownies served with generous chocolate sauce goes perfectly well with a big scoop of Vanilla ice cream. With hot and cold feelings in the mouth, our sweet tooth continuously to crave for more. By the time we finished, my bestie's burger was served to our table.
Teriyaki Chicken Burger on Crumbled Doughnut (RM 24.90)
As our tummies were pretty much filled up, bestie still had some space for his burger. Without knowing that the burger would come in such a big-sized portion and accompanied by a bowl of greenies and french fries as snack, this dish has easily made us feel extremely full yet satisfying. While we may consider this as a healthy food for once, bestie had a little tough time to finish it - not because they aren't satisfying but it is due to the huge serving portion. Not only that, bestie had to eat them separately as they were too "thick" to put them in a mouth, at one goal.
Needless to say, Delicious has transformed to serving quality food while providing their service at the level best. For those who face unhappy moments at Delicious before this, I would suggest you to pay them a visit again and evaluate if they have improved. After all, how can one says no to good food?
