Chapter 110 - Coco Steamboat Restaurant at Old Klang Road

Always good to savor something hot especially during the rainy days.

It is undeniable that rain keeps showering us nearly everyday. Living in this cold weather, steamboat is definitely the answer to go when we can savor something hot especially during these rainy days and eventually, soothes our beloved tummy.

Recently, I made my way to Coco Steamboat Restaurant at Old Klang Road. I dined before at this place like 2 years ago probably with my Leos at Coco Steamboat Restaurant, located in Cheras. And to my surprise, the restaurant at Old Klang Road was very packed despite that it was on a Sunday evening. Just the same experience that I had in Coco Steamboat Restaurant at Cheras.

The business was so good, I must say. The premise itself is spacious and huge yet, it was full. Thankfully, we did make our reservation first beforehand otherwise, we might ended up leaving the restaurant with empty-handed.

I believe many thronged into Coco Steamboat Restaurant was largely due to their Signature Pork Bone Soup. Appeared in a milky white color, the soup itself was boiled with giant pork knuckles for long hours, filled with other ingredients and vegetables.

If you opt for the Signature Pork Bone Soup, there would be a huge pork bone lying on each pot. Having its soup itself was truly addictive and appetizing. You could ask for refills but there would be an additional charge.

As we were waiting for our friends to arrive, we snacked on some dishes to at least treat our tummy first.
The snacks that we ordered were really, really good. We gobbled down the food before taking the photos hence, pardon for the incomplete look of how the dish should be.

Once everyone arrived, that's when the feast began! And here you go. We ordered 3 pax of the sets that contains prawns, pork balls, dumplings, crab sticks, fish noodles, cabbage, and etc while having extra orders on other side dishes like pork belly, vegetables, mushrooms and etc.

If the portion was not sufficient, you could easily add and order more.

Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience. Going towards the end of the dinner, I found out that the soup became slightly salty, not sure if it was due to so much of different types of ingredients putting in the bowl of pot.

Writing this post makes my tummy cries hence, I guess it's the time for me to feed my tummy. So, happy steam-boating!
