Have Jiggly Soufflé Pancakes in Soufflé Dessert Cafe, Puchong

Bumped into this place by chance and was amazed by the large crowd. Although it says that the operating hour starts at 3pm, we were in awe when we saw so many people at this cafe albeit that it was just fifteen minutes past 3pm.
We were ushered to a pretty nice, cozy table and browsed the menu in no time. Bear in mind that you have to put your order at the counter and make the necessary payment before you get to savour the jiggly soufflé.

1. Soufflé Pancake with Ice Cream
As the name suggests, there’s plenty of souffle pancakes await you. At the top of the list, you are highly recommended to order their Souffle Pancake with Ice Cream. There are 5 flavours of ice cream where you can choose from – Valrhona Dark Chocolate, Madagascar Vanilla, Classic Tiramisu, Hokkaido Black Sesame and Japanese Uji Macha.

Comes with 3pcs of souffle pancake accompanied with a tiny cup of honey, we wasted no time but to eat it. After all, we waited for 20 minutes just for this and that led to high expectation.

Jeng jeng jeng... on our first bite, it just tasted like the Asian Sponge Cake! Yes, the taste itself was pretty similar like ‘Ji Dan Gao’. Haha! Nonetheless, they were really soft and had a light airy texture.

2. Earl Grey Chocolate Cake
Imagine the combination of tea and chocolate.. does it even make sense to you? We decided to give it a try! Somehow, the tea taste was pretty strong, yet it gave the aftermath sour taste. We suspected there’s a layer of passion fruit jam in between.

Just like durian – you either like it or dislike it. I personally don’t fancy it but the other two friends of mine liked it.

3. Mocha Ice Ball
This is interesting! Comes with mocha ice ball and a cup of warm milk, it gave the feeling of yin and yang. As soon as you pour the warm chocolate on the mocha ice ball, the ball would melt on its own. In a couple of minutes with some stirring in between, you would be able to taste it. And for this drink, all I can say is once you put it in your mouth, you would be transported to a new paradise. Yummy!

All in all, if you like soufflé, you can go to Soufflé Dessert Cafe at Puchong (if it’s near to your place). Note that the café can be quite hot in the afternoon and also, noisy. So, don’t expect to a peaceful conversation with your family or friends.
Roasted Oolong Pearl Milk Tea (RM8.00)

Ambient: 2.8/5 (in the afternoon)

Verdict: You can try it if you are near to Puchong and have a liking towards souffle.

Chapter 127 - Recommended Ramly Burger in Klang Valley

Burger craving is up lately! Instead of having "commercialized" burgers, we wanted to have something basic where it could reminisce the days we had when we were young. One of my favorite Ramly Burger which I ever had was in Nilai; a stall outside of INTI International University. Regrettably, they had closed and I couldn’t get any other Ramly burger that was on par with it.

We browsed a few websites and blogs to look for the most recommended Ramly burger in Klang Valley. And we shortlisted these few names:
1. The Burger Shop, SS15
Double Cheese Special Burger (RM 10.20)
Double Crispy & Cheese Burger (RM 11.40)
Grill Lamb and Cheese Burger (RM 16.30)
Look at the size of all the burgers! They are huge and no wonder, the price is quite high for a Ramly burger. We took a bite immediately and we were quite stoned at first. It is not the usual Ramly burger that we usually have along the roadside. Particularly, the bread used is different. The bread itself carry some buttery texture and taste but somehow, the combination does not provide the whomppp feeling to the diners. In any case, if you prefer or fancy breads that have buttery taste, you can then visit this place.
Nevertheless, there are a large selection of other burgers like burger bakar and grilled burger (refer to the lamb burger photo). Even if you opted for snacks like pita, nuggets, foldover or even local cuisines like Fried Noodles, you can get it in The Burger Shop.

2. OM Burger in Ampang Jaya (located right in front of 7-11)

Double Cheese Burger (below RM10)
Double Special Cheese Burger (below RM 10)

Thanks to Waze, we managed to find the burger stall. Initially, we suspected whether we went to the right one because the one who runs the stall at that time were two young boys. Nevertheless, we saw many people made their orders so, we double confirmed with the boys. And boys, we were right!
OM Burger is one of the top greatest burgers that one must try according to many websites as well as blogs. Known as the messiest burger in Ampang, it does not stop many to buy them; even though it was raining when I visited there. Serving the usual burger offerings like beef and chicken plus occasionally, hot dogs, the patties are fried in a pool of margarine.
The burger is wrapped individually and one needs to eat them in a messy and sloppy eating style as it is drenched with a variety of sauces.

3. Burger stall at Petaling Jaya (located in front of 7-11)
The stall has been around for about 10 years. The burgers sold here are awesome! Delicious! Trust the owner has found a way of firing up the Ramly patties that makes every bite worth a space in your tummy despite how late the day is. Using simple ingredients like cheese, cabbage and cucumber plus special sauces, I enjoy every single bite of it.
Sadly, the photos that I took are unfortunately can't be used here!! I can't wait not to share this with you guys hence, let me just post it here, kay? Anyway, I will make sure to take that photo and post it. Wait for me! In the meantime, why don't you visit there first?

Among the three burger stalls that I went to, now I have found my favorite one which is at Petaling Jaya (Number 3). I guess I have been a loyal fan where I have visited for almost 3 times now. Perhaps, you should go and try it on your own. Or if you have come across any Ramly burgers that are worth to try, please do not hesitate to let me know. I would love to try them all!
