Chapter 138 - Mitasu Japanese Restaurant at Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur

Chinese New Year is all about eating! At the very least, this is something that I enjoyed the most. I tried  my level best to reduce my food intake but the cookies in my house and packet drinks in my refrigerator had always made me to fall into a deep, deep valley.

Food outing has also become one of my favorite pastimes during the festive season. While work is still finding its way to my email, it is good to spare some time with family and friends. And the best reason to all gatherings is nonetheless, eat, eat and eat. I had like most of the cuisines during this season from Chinese cuisine to Korean, Western and Japanese.
That is what OHANA meant

One of my favorites which I can’t help but to share with you guys is Mitasu Japanese Restaurant. Putting our “kiasu” head, we were the first few to reach on that day – I made my reservation early and I managed to get a private room which comfortably accommodate 9 pax in total. The minute we sat, we browsed through the menu and chose the food that we wanted to eat.
 Tempura
Fried Squid
This is awesome.
 Fried scallop
Takoyaki
Raw oyster and prawns
There is grill lamb!! :)
My first time eating so much of sashimi...

There is not much variety when comes to sushi.
Personally, I think that sushi in MAIU tastes better than the ones in Mitasu.
Fried chicken
First time everyone enjoyed the smoked duck salad.
I can't believe I can eat a bowl of Udon that night after having so much of food.
There's always a room for dessert.

Voila, and my family agreed that the food is nice and fresh!

Everyone likes it - not long after we left Mitasu, we started to crave for their dishes. Aiks! We should have stuffed our tummies so that there is no hint of regret.

If you really crave for Japanese food, you can opt for Mitasu Japanese Restaurant. For an adult, the price is at RM 64.50++ whereas for senior citizen, the price is at RM 48.00++. When comes to children, it really depend on the height. I personally feel that the price is quite reasonable for ala-carte Japanese buffet.
